These black Emporio Armani sunglasses, model 9134/S 003, are the update to the 9036/S 003 model. While the look very similar, they are much better. I bought these on eBay to replace my broken 9036/S model, thinking that I was getting another 9036/S. The picture wasn't what I got, and I ended up with these. Fortunately for me, they are designed much better. The overall rimless look is the same, but they are put together in a way that is less to be broken. The old model, the 9036/S, attached the frame to the glasses with two small screws with miniture Armani wings on outside. The new model, the 9134/S attaches the frame to the glasses at the center, just above the nose. There is a large Armani logo which blends in very nicely to cover the screws that go through. Having the frame attached at the center allows for pressure to be put on the edges of the frame without putting much force on the screws. The frame also now has a thicker, gray translucent material on the part that rest on your ears. this piece feel more durable than the thinner ones on the old model.
Overall, this model is just better made. They look almost exactly the same, and they are much better made. If you liked the 9036/S, I highly suggest the 9134/S. Same look, much more durable.
